Portia
Calpurnia and Portia were two noble women living in Rome during Julius Caesar's time period. They were both married to very important, high officials during Caesar's time. Calpurnia had been married to Caesar, while Portia, pictured left, was married to Brutus. There were many things alike about Calpurnia and Portia, but also many characteristics that were unalike between the two women.
Throughout this website, will be comparisons and contrasts between the women and background information about each of them as well. There is information regarding who they were, who their fathers were, who they were married to, and other useful background information.
